what a beautiful sight. the UAE's F-16 Block 60 landing. certainly prettier than an A380 one.
who knows maybe in 10 years time we don't need pilots anymore? everything will be done by the computer. just like malayboy's msn nick, last of the breed, we might be the last breed of future pilots. my fingers are crossed.

hey guys. mud here. i was actually watching discovery channel and there was this programme about the world's most lethal fighter planes. btw thanks minah for smsing me telling me about the show. it then struck me that the Russians do give joyrides on their retired fighters; MiGs and Sukhois. so i was wondering if one day we guys could all go to Russia together and have a joyride in their fighter. i would suggest to the poly fellas to work part time and save up money to go to Russia unless you're the child of some rich towkay who has access to your daddy's credit cards and you don't have to work your ass off to get a cent. well that few thousand dollars that we fork out would be definitely worth it. any takers? oh well if we can't afford to fly all the way to Siberia's neighbour then a trip to Malaysia to get a joyride in the aerobatics planes would be lovely too. ah what the fuck as long as it's flying i'm taking it!

Hey folks.. just a couple of hours ago i reached home frm my class chalet at pasir ris..
First night we just had bbq n e usual stuff, drink, eat play cards.. but the second night was interesting.. we decided to go for night cycling..
so we left our chalet at arnd 8pm but no one had any idea where to go.. so i brought them to changi village for dinner.. After dinner, we decided to cycle arnd e carpark to see whether got any transvestite. Well there are but i didnt recognise them initially.. haha they were all at the road side waiting for ppl to pick them up. Well i must say.. these "guys" are actually quite "gorgeous" in the sense tat they look like women except for their voice.
Later on we cycled to changi beach park n i purposely stopped at the part which is right in front of threshold of runway 20R so we could watch planes take off n land.. Well we're quite lucky 5 mins after we arrived a Qantas Beoing 747-400 just took off n flew past right above us at abt 300-400 feet? arnd there.. e landing gears were just abt to be raised. Well there were a lot of night departures that night..
After plane spotting, we cycled on towards changi coast rd. There we had e best night view of terminal 2 as well as runway 02C-20C. Too bad e runway in use was 02C.. If not we can try chasing a departing boeing.. (although it sounds retarded) Of course there were lotz of SIA aircrafts taking off n my class gals scream in anxiety as the plane rotate right beside us n lifted off.. (wait til they hear the vipers..) Again we stopped right beside e threshold of runway 02C & waited for a B777-200 to power up n roll.. of course the sound rocks..
tat night we saw changi east airbase but we couldnt find changi west airbase.. sadz.. if not i can bluff my class gals that i fly the F-16 52 plus n show them how solid it looks.. LMAO (joking) well i think my classmates are quite pro to be able to cycle wif me all arnd changi airport in e wee hrs of e morning. i think i know e reason.
cos i'm there :P (jokin again) ROFL

my letter to santa claus:

igloo no. 3
dear mr. claus,
i'm writing to you to request for a new pair of sunglasses and a new watch for christmas this year. my eyes have been blinded by the brightness of the sun and i've been unable to keep track of time lately resulting in myself turning up late for appointments and dates. so i really hope you can fulfill my wish and i'll be a good boy next year if you get me what i want.
p.s. a joyride on the f-16 and a trip to pearce airforce base would be the best christmas present ever. hehe. =)

this sight greeted me as i walked into PLAB
Yep, it was the RSAF openhouse 2003. A couple of vipers were taxying to the runway for some formation flying overhead. Too bad i had a lousy cam.
I remembered just standing there for god knows how long. Just staring at this pretty babe.

Viper's gun. The 20mm rounds are about the size of my palm.

Me & LTA Kevin
I remember i met LTA Kevin during some career exibition at suntec city during secondary4. I stayed at the RSAF's booth the whole freaking day listening to him tell me stories about how he got his wings etc. Btw, he's from 143rd squadron, TAB, viper driver.
Ps: Whats with that kid in the middle?

Thumbs up. LTA kevin would you kindly stand up? I'm about to start-up.
You guys should know the kind of queues at the static aircrafts, especially fighters. It was about 200m. Thank the lord, luckily for me, LTA kevin brought me to another F-16 which wasn't opened up to public yet and allowed me in. He briefly explained to me the control knobs etc. *i had no idea what he was talking about at that point of time*
After having my butt glued to the viper's seat, its fury btw, i went inside and omg. They had just opened the F-16 simulator in front of me. Talk about luck.

They actually simulated a couple of migs aganist me. Asked me to go into some boresight firing mode and shoot those bastards with a couple of Aim-120 AMRAAMs and get the f**k outta there double time. I had 3 confirmed kills with my AMRAAMs.
It's getting hot in here. Fox-Two-ing those sons of bit*hes.

A break of laughter knowing we nailed them. "BINGO"(bingo if im not wrong means you have to return to base as you only have that amount of fuel left) warning sounded. Time to recover!

trying to align myself with the centreline. hey cut me some slack okay, first time landing a viper. In fact, first time landing anything! NOTE: no help was given :D
It was a fun and fruitful day. Looking forward to next year's AA06 with the retards. Make sure all of you can make it. Last picture of the day.

You guys know the 2nd guy from the left? No shit, thats our CAF.

I love milkshakes and i cannot lie.
I realise that not all pilots are good looking like the Topgun cast(Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer).
Malayboy and I intend to be fishmongers if we don't become wingmen one day. We don't mind ending up as fishmen.
I saw a couple of novels about fighter pilots at Borders today. Intend to buy them all and read them during the holidays.
It better not rain when we're at Sentosa.

kenneth(my cousin), me, and
yes you guess it.
The pilot of this huge bomber.
Kinda hot isn't she? Shes quite small size taking into account that i was most probabaly 140cm during that time.
Just in case some of you are wondering, this bomber is the B-52 Stratofortess
Carries up to 50,000pounds of bombs.

10 reasons why ismail and haireel deserve each other (have you ever heard the phrase: opposites attract?)..
- ismail's and haireel's hair are always gelled in opposite directions
- they both have EXTREMELY long eyelashes (good for batting at each other)
- they always whisper into each other's ears (sweet nothings?)
- they sms each other when they're like, 1 feet apart on the mrt
- ismail has a scar on his right eyebrow and haireel has one on his left
- haireel's reeealy tall and ismail is
short not so tall - they exchanged laces. (how sweet)
- they went on honeymoon together (see above)
- they like to look at each other and laugh conspiratorily
- ismail dresses to impress haireel: (ismail took FOREVER to get dressed for the party at jo's house and when he finally arrived, we asked him 'why you dress until so nice? going clubbing ar?', to which he replied 'no la wanted to dress to impress.' to which HAIREEL said 'i'm impressed!')

greetings my beloved folks
Saturday's third wave flight was the most memoriable flight i had so far. After getting airborne the weather changed rapidly from VMC to IMC Cat 1. The sight was simply fascinating as the dark clouds moved in and eveloped us quickly and the the torrential rain beating against the cockpit windows. On recovery there was a massive Nimbostratus cloud ( :P ) covering threshold of runway 03 and visibility was limited. There was lightning as well.. On downwind tower had already switched on the runway lights! Finally i got a chance to see the runway lights!! We landed in heavy rain and then taxied back to YFC.. cool~

A very gd evening to my beloved folks =)
I've just flew my area solo on last wave today. The weather looked cloudy initially from the ground but I still got airborne to fly my dual and at the same time check out the area. The winds were strong at 280 deg 10 knts. It was indeed terrible as there was quite a lot of turbulence after take off. Haha.. the nose of the a/c was pointing at approximately hdg 240 while the a/c was flying at a hdg of 210. Okays then i carried on flying to Alpha and established 3000 feet. Did steep turns, stalls and slow speed. The wind was irritating thou but the clouds were high up above us. Visibility was great and e horizon was beautiful!
Okays i get to go and then i left for area Alpha initially. Went sight seeing for a while then returned to the central catchment area to do steep turns. Kae then left for Bravo to do my stalls and slow speed. Again i flew up and down between seletar & causeway pt to view the scenery. At 5000 feet e air was cool & and i was able to watch the sun set. The scenery is simply breathtaking!
I recovered and did a few circuits and landed b4 the sun sets. It was simply a wonderful experience! Well, how i wished i could relieve that moment again. Now i'm left with 1 more solo -.-" tats abt it.
To Afzal--> all e best for fht tmr
